The DI water spray gun is connected to a source of deionized water. This is water that’s had most of its minerals removed – such as sodium, calcium, iron and copper – through the deionization process. The deionized process makes the water that comes out of the DI water spray gun extremely pure, with low conductivity and no dissolved solids.
