Cleanroom pens are specialized pens that are designed for use in cleanrooms and other controlled environments where contamination has to be minimized. While regular pens can release particles, fibers, and contaminants that could interfere with the sensitive processes in a cleanroom, cleanroom pens are manufactured to shed very few particles. The ink used in cleanroom pens is specifically formulated, and some of our cleanroom pens are resistant to chemicals and will hold up during wipe downs with IPA, bleach, and phenols.
